How do I cleanup my guestbook (created with Frontpage)

Open the guestbook log in the Private folder of your remote website and
delete them.

Rusty, thanks for your quick reply.

I've deleted their entries in the guestbook log twice and saved the changes.
(it wasn't in a private folder though). The entries are no longer in log.
Yet when i log back onto my web-site, they are right back. I've refreshed
the page and cleaned out the cache in my browser, yet they are still visible.

I'm open to suggestions. Thanks again.

If I open my remote web in Frontpage 2003 and edit the log, the guestbook
page resets immediately. If that doesn't work, just post a new entry in
your guestbook as a visitor would (say something nice about your website),
and the guestbook will then be updated. Or edit it separately, just like
you did with the guest log page.
I posted a related question an hour before you posted yours, and am still
awaiting some help.
Rusty

Rusty,

It is working properly now. I updated some other pages, the re-published
the web-site, and the spam was gone. Maybe I just didn't wait long enough.
Thanks again for your help.
