Hi,

I would suggest reducing the amount of disk space System Restore is set
to hold restore points. Reducing the Store size will purge the oldest
restore points on a First In Firsts Out (FIFO) bases and leave as many
recent restore points as the new size will allow.

Here are some tips on adjusting disk space and keeping System Restore
healthy.

goto control panel click on system then system properties box comes on
click on system restore tab click on settings to adjust amount of space
allowed to what you want to allow
to clean up and empty all restore points but the latest one
click on start all progs accessories system tools disc clean up
pick the drive you want to clean up on mine its (c) in the box that comes on
next click on more options then click on clean up all but the most
resent restore point

If you think your system is stable, just turn RP off, then right
back on. That'll delete all of them in one fell swoop. Then,
adjust the percentage of your HD you want to reserve, and
immediately create a new RP to protect your system until the
next time a system check point is created.
