How do i check for viruses?

Hi, I was wondering if there was any one out there who can tell me how to
check for viruses on my computer, and also, how to clean out the cookies, as my computer is fairly slo
to conect to pages that i want to veiw. Your suggestions will be very helpful

Your anti virus program should have some help files, if you don't have a program
then I suggest you get one asap
