how do i change the top line of worksheet?

can some help me please as my 20 mth old son as done something to change the
top to numerics from alpha, how do i get it back
 
go to tools | options | general tab | uncheck R1C1 reference style |
ok
 
Go to Tools/Options on the menu bar, select the General tab on the dialog
box and uncheck the "R1C1 reference style" check box.
