How do I change the size and spacing of left side navigation butt.

When using the included themes, the navigation bars on the left side are too
long and wide and have too much space between them. This causes me to be
unable to get many bars on one page without the user having to scroll down
the page. How can I change the size and spacing of the navigation bars when
I use the packaged themes?

Use a different theme or create your own theme images then use Format Theme Modify/Customize - Graphics
