How do I change the format of the Time displayed in the Task bar ?

How do I change the format of the Time displayed in the Task bar ?

For example, i want to see the time in HH:MM:SS format ... where do i need
to change. Is tht feasible?

Plz reply. Thanks in advance for the help
 
Actually yes

Control panel , Regional and Language Options, Regional Options tab

Click on Customize, click on Time tab

Enter the time format required

Click Ok, Ok and your done........
 
Actually, in my system, it shows tht the time format is

h:mm:ss tt

but it displays only 6:53 PM ... ( which shd ideally be 6:53:34 PM )

I mean to say it doesnot display the seconds. I want to display the
seconds....

can u plz tell me how to do tht ?

Nope. Thorsten is right. XP will not natively display the seconds
which is what the OP was wanting to do. To do that you need a third
party utility.



 
Go back and read the reply you got from Thorsten. You need a third
party utility to do that. XP will not display the seconds on the
built in clock.

I chked out the sites given by Thorsten, it was hard for me to find it out
by name... so if u can give me the name of the utility, then it wud be very
helpful.

Hello, One I used awhile back was "TClock" at the time it was free. Try
Google for "TClock".
