I have a Title that I am transferring onto established slides, but I need to
change the color of the font on the Title Master. I can't find a way to do it.

Hi,

Go to View| Master| Slide Master and change it there.

Please tell us your PowerPoint / Windows version,
whether you are using vba, whether
your cows are in the corn paddock, or
anything else relevant.

Then re-save it as a Template (.pot) file for future use.

That doesn't work. The title is actually a "picture" and won't let me change
it in the Master slide. I tried Microsoft paint and every other means, but -
no go. I am now going to send it to a graphic artisit to see if he can
change the font color. Thanks for yoyur reply.

It sounds as if someone used an image for the slide background, probably so
it couldn't be changed.

How are you getting the "picture" into PAINT? If you go to the title slide
(not the master) you may be able to SAVE AS a png file (current slide only).
If you can and if the font is a solid colour the paint pot in paint should
work.

Then reinsert your changed file in the master (maybe as a background)
