How Do I Change the Folder's Order in Windows XP's Notepads Save -Window?

When I want to save a document to "My Documents" using Notepad, WordPad, or
MS Word, the folders are in a descending (z to a) order instead of an
ascending one. I found, if I right-click onto a clear space in the save
window and highlight "Arrange by Name" it reverses the folders to the wanted
a to z order. However, when I open other folders, their sub-folders, or
re-open the same one in the save window, I have to click "Arrange by Name"
for each instance. Is there a way to set the ascending order of folders as
the default?

Open explorer, set the files the way you want to see them
every time you open folders, once this is done left click
tools, then folder options, left click view, then apply to
all folders, a msg will come up lrft click yes.
