How do I change the default settings when opening attachments?

When opening attachments, they open in "reading" view and I (actually my
boss) want them to open in "normal " view. How do I change the setting so
attachments default to automatically open in "normal" view.
 
In Word->Tools->OPtions->General Tab->Uncheck "Allow opening in Reading Layout"
