How do I change the chart sizing measurement from cms to inches?

I want to re-size a chart from cms to inches, using the Chart Tools - Format
- Size, but each time I type inches in the boxes it just reverts to cms. Any
suggestions, I have tried looking in the excel options for a default but
can't see an option.
 
You will have to adjust the regional settings of Windows from the Windows
Control panel and change the numbering system from metric to U.S..
