How do I change the backgtound color in the reading pane?

Hi Diane, Thanks, I know it s/b white, & that's what I prefer. However, It is
currently "Green" background/wallpaper. I know how to change the stationary
on an out-going messages, but if the sender dosen't specify a
background/wallpaper it will appear on my reading pane in green. What to
do...what to do? Thanks, Glenn
