How do I change the available highlighter colors?

I need to change the colors available when I highlight text. The currently
provided colors are too dark when the document is printed.
 
There is no way to add highlight colors. You can add "highlighting" manually
by selecting the text to be highlighted and then using Format | Borders and
Shading, applying the shading to "Text."
