How do I change settings to get automatic logon

How do I change settings so when I boot up the system
will automatically logon me in and take me into desktop,
vs. having to click on my user at the user logon screen?

Have no password and only one user.

Or

Type in Start Run

control Userpasswords2

and clear Users Must Enter Their Name. Follow the prompts.

Get TweakUI for XP. It's one of the Power Toys available from the MS Site. It
has a tweak to automatically logon as any user you choose.

Start - Run the line
control userpasswords2

Uncheck 'Users must give a username' and Apply - give the name and
password of the user to be assumed.
