for some reason, the time on my computer is accurate. however, the time of my
received mail is different. I can't seem to change it. Everytime I click on
the help icon, all it has is mostly about the Calendar time changing.
Everything is fine, except that the time in my inbox for my messages is
inaccurate.

I would think this is probably a problem with the time on the Exchange server
that is receiving the mail. If you are not on Exchange, it would seem to be
a problem with the time on whatever server is accepting your mail before it
shows in the your Inbox.

An email timestamp uses the system time and date, the Time Zone setting, and
the Daylight Savings Time flag. ALL THREE must be correct or the time stamp
will be wrong.

Your Windows time and time zone settings must agree with your Calendar time
and time zone settings.
