How do I change my hyperlink to underlined version?

Everytime I type in a hyperlink in my papers they show up as {hyperlink
"mailto:blahblah"}. If I press select hyperlink, then it shows up normally,
but when I save it and reopen, it goes back to the {hyperlink}. How do I
change the hyperlink options so that it will show up as blue underlined text
without the brackets?

Press Alt+F9 to toggle between field codes and field results.
