how do I change line spacing in a template?

When I go from the design page to the preview page in Frontpage the bulleted
lists go from being single spaced to double spaced. I don't understand how
to get them back to single spaced. In other words, why is design no WYSIWUG?

I have the same problem, that is bulleted lists that are single spaced in
Design View but changed to double spaced in Preview or on the internet.
Sometimes I can fix them by deleting all the paragraph marks at the end of
each line then hitting Enter to make them go to the next line with a bullet
but even this doesn't always work. Chris, I have an internet site at
www.bascorp-software.com, which is actually for Jellinek Pediatrics, if you
you want to take a look. The lists on all the pages show as single spaced in
Design View, but as you will see, they are not always single spaced. In fact,
on the Emergencies page, there are some lists that display as double and one
that displays as single. I found this same problem with Front Page 2000 and
thought it would be gone in 2003. It's such a simple thing but very
aggravating. It's evidently in the program and I hope you know what the
problem is and get it fixed. Yes, all the bullets are from a theme but I
don't think they are the cause because of the sometimes single and sometimes
double result.

The lists on the Emergencies page were imported from Word or some other
Print oriented program. Indents, margins and line heights should be integer
values, and not points (which are good on paper, not good on a screen.

Each list element contains a <p>aragraph</p>, which will always display as
"double spaced", especially when using measurements that cannot be rendered
on a web page.

Redo the lists in FP, edit out the paragraph mark-up and formatting, and the
problem will go away.

Design View in FrontPage is not a browser, and WYS is often not WYG.

Don't paste from or use Word to create your pages
The double spacing is caused by the Word formating tag inside the LI tags
- remove them
