how do I change column totals from number signs to amounts?

I have been using the worksheets for months but all of a sudden I have two
columns of figures that have gone into ###number signs. How do I fix this?

Generally that means that your columns are not wide enough to accomodate the
number. Widen the columns and your numbers should reappear.
