How do i change a share name

I have a drive on one PC set up to share across the network. Trouble is it
has a misleading share name.

I have gone to properties/sharing.share name but it wont let me change it

Can I change and, if so, how

Unshare the resource. If it is a mapped drive, disconnect. Then recreate the
share with the name you want.
