how do i capture

i was told that i don't need a capture card with xp pro as there is one already in windows is this correct, i have a firewire port but don't know how to capture.

First what are you trying to capture from. If you have a digital camera that
use firewire, you don't need the capture card.

xp has windows movie maker in it. in that program there

is a capture feature. it is the camera icon. good luck!
