How do I calculate a test built in PowerPoint?

I have built a course and an exam in PowerPoint to burn to a CD as a Computer
Based Training (CBT) event. I am trying to find a way to calculate the test
by linking the PowerPoint slides to either access, excel, etc. to determine
what the learner got right/wrong. I am using PowerPoint in XP.

Can you be more specific about what you hoep Excel or Access will do for
you? I'm not sure what you mean by "calculate the test." I have several
examples that do some of what you want within PowerPoint, but they do not
link to Excel or Access. They use VBA to keep score and possibly display
what answers were given. To use these, users must be using the full
version of PowerPoint with macro security set to Medium or Low. Check out
the examples (start with Examples by Chapter and Chapter 7) at:

David,

Thank you for responding. I took a look at your example in chapter 7 where
it allowed me to answer the question and keep the score. That's exactly what
I am looking for. The test I have created has 18 questions and each question
is multiple choice. Currently each letter choice has an action button that
links them to the next questions and has the chime sound if correct or the
voltage sound if incorrect. I want at the end for the learner to be able to
see how many out of the 18 he/she got right.

Thanks Bill. I appreciate your help. I am not familiar with using VBA, but
I will try to figure this out. I will let you know if I have any questions.
