how do i block my visit to my web site from my hit counter

I would like to block my visit hits from my web page hit counter. Is there a
way to do that so that when i visit my web site it doesnt count my hits or
visits. using front page 2003

You can't - it just counts "hits" and not sophisticated enough to count
unique vistors etc.

My suggestion is to ask your host what they offer in the way of a decent
stats package/script for your site; many hosts offer stats packages as part
of the hosting control panels like Cpanel on Linux hosting which should
already come with a stats package or two to use for this purpose as part of
the "software" component of CPanel.
