How do I automatically recieve messages in my inbox?

I am not automatically recieveing incoming messages to my inbox. I have to
hit the send/recieve button to get any emails. How can I change this?
 
Set Automatic Send Receive in Tools, Options, Mail Setup, Send/receive
button. Do not set for anything less than every 10 minutes or it won't work
right.
