How do I auto update 11 tables with same primary keys thru a form?

I am a newbie in Access. I am currently using Access 2007.

I have 11 tables coming from a questionnaire. All of them have primary ID
(STUDY_ID), I want to create a link such that when I add new record on the
primary form (coz I will be using several forms --- too complicated to place
on one form), it will automatically add that primary key to the other tables
so that when I go to those tables/forms, the STUDY_ID field (which is also
the primary key) is already there that I won't need to retype it again. How
can I do this? I have tried append query but then I would need to run it
everytime and it seems to handle 2 tables only at a time (I am most probably
incorrect).

Thank you

An autonumber would do what you want. Go to design view on your tables and
set the study_id to an autonumber field.

Very unlikely that that will work. Autonumbers are NOT guaranteed to be
consecutive. If you start adding a record and then change your mind, you
lose the value that would have been assigned to the Autonumber field. That
means that it would be almost guaranteed that the Autonumber values in the
different tables would quickly get out of synch.
