How do I auto copy & paste text from 1 form field to another?

I have developed a boilerplated form with several fields. Some of the fields
require the exact same information. What I am asking is how do I set up the
form so that when I put the information in the first field I want that same
information to go into another field automatically without having to
duplicate putting the information in more than once.
 
You do not use a second form field. Instead you use a REF field for the
duplications.
