How Do I Animate Fireworks over Photo in PPoint?

I am making a slideshow and need to know how to animate a fireworks clipart
over a photo. I want the fireworks display to look like it is part of the
actual photo. What particular effect would I use?

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? In PowerPoint 2002 or 2003 I would
combine a Wipe and a Dissolve or Faded Zoom animation. Echo S. has my
sample file with all PPT 2002 animations on her website:

I have PP2002...I fairly new to this animation thing....how do you "combine" those effects. I will also check out that website....
