How do I allow clicking links in an e-mail?

I'm using Outlook 2007. It doesn't allow my to click on links in an e-mail
regardless of where the message is. I get a message to contact my
administrator. I am the administrator and the only one using this machine.

If 2007 is like 2003, you can use Tools, options, security tab, Change
download Settings button and uncheck Do not download........etc. Leave Notify
me if ....checked. In 2007 look for something similar if you don't see those
exact steps.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I've already tried this. I've tried
changing phishing options and security options.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked through the Trust settings. I've tried
changing a couple settings, but with no difference.

The message I'm getting is:
"The operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator."

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried importing the key. I looked at it first
and it looked fine to me. After importing, no change in behavior. I even
rebooted just in case.

I have also tested this with MS Mail and links from MS Mail work fine. It
seems to be something specific to Outlook 2007.

Tried doing a repair/reinstall of Office 2007 already?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I tried that this morning (just finished). Last night, I tried the Office
Diagnostics. Neither has had a positive effect on this problem.

I just tried uninstalling Outlook and reinstalling with no change. I guess
I'm going to have to uninstall all of Office next.

This is really stupid.

It turns out that I get this from any hyperlink in any Office document. I've
uninstalled and reinstalled all of Office, no change.

It doesn't affect Windows Mail or any non Office application.

Okay. So, after hours on the phone with Microsoft technical support, first
Office and then Vista, I have a solution.

I had installed Macromedia Studio MX 2004. Apparently, ColdFusion was
causing a conflict that embodied itself by causing the hyperlinks in Office
not to work. Go figure.

I went to msconfig and disabled the coldfusion service, everything works
fine now.
