How do I advance typing below bottom of e-mail message window?

Micosoft office 2003, OUTLOOK.
When I type in the e-mail message window in OUTLOOK, and come to the bottom
of the window, the text or page does not Scroll, so the typing is obscured
from view.
I have to hit Enter to scroll the page upward and then replace the cursor.

I would like to know how to repair this error as it is very disconcerting.

If you run Detect and Repair, does it work correctly?

I was unaware of that little tool I hope I can remember it in the future
