How do I add user defined fields to mapped fields in Outlook?

I am trying to import from Excel 2003. When I go to map the fields, the
fields which I have created are not appearing as options on the 'Map To' side
of Outlook. How do I add these user defined fields so that they appear on
the Map list?
 
Outlook doesn't support importing to a custom fields . You'd have to write custom code or use a third-party application. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/customimport.htm.
