How do I add the /mMacroname switch to a hyperlink?

I would like to create a "master" word document (word 2003) that contains
hyperlinks to specific macros in several other word documents. Each of these
documnets contains a macro (saved in the document) that I would like to
execute when I access it from the master document, but not if I open the
individual documents (without using autoopen). I can hyperlink to and open
the needed documents without the switch, bt when I try to add it, the
hyperlink fails.

The 'switch' you mentioned is generally tied to using the Winword.exe program rather than a document switch.

You may want to consider using a MacroButton field or other Word form control that you can inturn tie a 'run' type of action to.
