How do I add my own authentic signature to word documents

I would like to add my own signature to word docs without the need to print
the doc, add my signature and then scan it back in again, any easy ways to
accomplish this ?

Scan an image of your signature and then insert the image.

Scan an image of your signature and then insert the image.

and I would add...

Set the properties of the sig to wrap "behind the text."
With that, you can have the closing of your letter (or
whatever) with the signature looking as if it were written
over the closing. I have a sig that is in red, and was done
with a felt-tip pen. I cannot tell the printed result from
the real thing.

Then having inserted it save it as an autotext (or formatted autocorrect)
entry for ease of re-use.
