How do I add multiple guides?

I am using PowerPoint 2003 and cannot figure out how to add new guides. When
I search "add a guide" in help, it simply says to move the pre-existing
guides, which doesn't help me since I need multiple guides. I know there's
probably a simple answer, but I'm at a loss. Could some one help me figure
out how to create multiple guides?

Thanks a lot!

Turn on your guides should give you one down and across the center of your
display. Hold down the Ctrl Key and then drag as many vertical or horizontal
guides that you need. To remove them just drag them off the screen.

Hold down the control key while clicking on the existing guide. Drag your
mouse to where you want the new guide to be.

(Interesting that it didn't show in your help entry. It does here. Can you
let us know the title of the entry you checked?

Yikes. Well I feel quite sheepish... You're right, it does say to hold down
CTRL...
Thank you for pointing that out to me, friend. I appreciate your help.

Thanks again,

And if you hold Shift key WITH control key, you can start a new guide from
