Use a label with a caption of --> or use a label with a font like WingDings
and enter a character that gives you an arrow
or find a small bitmap that is a picture of an arrow.

Add a text control to the form/report.
Set it's Font to Wingdings.
Set it's control source to:
=chr(232)
for an arrow pointing to the right.

For other arrows, see the Charmap.exe.
Start + All Programs + Accessories + Character Map

For more flexibility you can go this route:
Insert > Object, and select Microsoft Draw 98 Drawing (or something like
that). Size the box to the approximate size you need, then add a drawing
object (such as an arrow). You could also just create a picture (such as an
arrow) in Word, then copy and paste into Access. In either case you end up
with what is called an unbound object frame (I think). If you set its
special effect to Flat, and its border and back color to Transparent it will
appear as just an arrow.

Does this need to be a control, or just an image?
If it needs to be a command button control, then the command button wizard
will allow you to select images and there are several varieties of arrows
from which you may chose.
If it needs to be an image, use the image control, and select an image with
an arrow. You can create a .bmp with paint, use an image from clip art, or
download one.
