How do I add address details to Distribution Lists in Outlook (XP)

i want to add address details to an Outlook Distribution list so that I can
share the details with colleagues?
 
I don't understand.
DL's contain electronic addresses only so you can send emails to multiple
recipients in one step.
There is no need for them to contain anything else, nor can they.
What is it you want to do? I doubt a DL is the right vehicle.
