how do I add a shortcut to the task bar at the bottom of my desktop screen?

How do I add a shortcut to the task bar at the bottom of
my desktop screen? I have the shortcut on my desktop now,
but I want to drag it to the menu bar on the bottom of the
desktop. I'm using a pc Windows XP. Thanks.

Right click on the task bar and then click toolbars\quick
launch and that's where you want to drag and drop them.
Appears down the bottom left next to your start button or
whatever you may have named it. Keep smiling.
