How do I add a 'normal' signature to Word documents

I have to submit a monthly time sheet and would like to bge able to add a
signature to the Word document.

The signature does not have to be digitlly secure
 
Scan your signature (you can use a digital camera at a pinch) to a jpg file.
Clean it up (if necessary) in a graphics application. Insert it into a
document, save it as an autotext or autocorrect entry and insert as
required.
