How Do I Add A New Template?

In PPT 2002, I added a new template with a .pot suffix to
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Presentation Designs

but from inside PPT 2002, when I look into Design Templates, I don't see it!!!

???

That location is reserved for the provided microsoft templates

Easiest way is to double click the template icon to open it and then save as
a pot file . PowerPoint will take you to the recommended folder which is

Drive\Documents and Settings\Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates
