D Daiya Mitchell Oct 15, 2004 #4 Eek! That's not a footnote. A footer is something completely different, though perhaps that's what you want. For a footnote, use Insert | Reference. Footnotes are used to cite sources, footers are used to repeat text on every page (e.g. Page X of Y) Though this kinda sounded like a homework question in the first place.
