How do I add a DVD clip to powerpoint?

I need to add a chapter from a DVD to a powerpoint presentation. How can this
be done. I can not find a way to save the chapter to my computer. thank you!
 
You can not, doing so is a violation of copyright law and is illegal.

It is not illegal to add something you own or have permission to use.
If the content is a copyrighted movie or other content there are right
of use policies that can work in your favor. And it's usually not too
difficult to get permission depending on the use.

AVS Media has a good tool for ripping and converting video files:

Also, search "dvd ripper" and you will get a lot of hits.
