How do I activate the "word count" feature in Power Point?

Does a 'word count' feature exist in Power Point, and if yes, how do I
activate it?

As far as I know, you will need to check your words count by going to File >
Properties. Then, click Statistics tab.

In PPT 2002/2003 go to:

File > Properties
Click the Statistics tab
You will find a Word count (among other statistics here)
