How do I activate ShadowSurfer's wallpaper?

To everyone who owns and run ShadowSurfer:

SS says that when it is enabled, it will display its own wallpaper as a
warning to the user.

That sounds cool. I found the jpg in the installation folder.

During my testing of the product, I enabled and disabled SS several
times. I never saw that wallpaper.

Did I miss a button in the Configuration Panel or a registry entry
somewhere? How do I get SS to display its wallpaper when it's running?

$29.95 to buy. This isn't freeware.

I suggest you contact the makers of this shareware program to receive
the product support that you require.

Let me try this again: I read about the free version of ShadowSurfer in
this newsgroup, so I assumed that posts about the free version of
ShadowSurfer are on-topic here.

I'm only asking about the wallpaper---does anyone have any information
about the wallpaper?

Out of curiosity yesterday, I went and attempted a download. After
dutifully filling out the forms with my standard fake information, I was
taken to a page asking for my Visa/Mastercard number with a $0.00 balance
on the invoice. Anybody able to get this for "free"?

I don't get that problem. When SS is enabled the wallpaper overwrites
your own wallpaper - you can't actually change the SS wallpaper through
the desktop properties BUT the properties box still shows your normal
wallpaper even when SS is enabled. If that makes sense!

My copy of SS isn't doing that. The standard wallpaper is showing
whether on not SS is running. It's okay, I've gotten used to seeing the
icon in the system tray to let me know that SS is running.

I guess the real issue here is that I can't find a way to force SS's
wallpaper to show, and I can't find any controls for the wallpaper in
the program.

Depending on how you set it up, the icon is in the system tray whether
SS is enabled or not. Open the program up from that icon and check if it
is actually enabled.
