how do I activate out of office replies

I cannot activate my out of office replies via the normal method ie
tools-options-other-advanced options-add in manager-exchange extensions is
activated already .I cannot use or see the out of office in the tools
menu....HELP

No,this pc doesn't support not exchange software it is a stand alone PC using
outlook 2002

First I would try the "Detect And Repair" function in the Help menu and
reset Outlook to its default settings first. If that shouldn't help, then
there is also a registry trick. Pls search for "Resiliency" in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base.

These ones should do the trick.

If still no success, then pls answer back with your OL version and
eventually an error message if you get one.
