I upgraded one of my LAN computers to XP Pro , all other computers in my
system is Win2k , now when I try to access \\XP\C$ (or any other admin
resource) from another computer, it comes up with a logon requester but no
known account will work.
Seems regular shares works as they should...
Hope someone can help a XP newbe :)

XP Pro only makes admin shares available when simple file sharing is
disabled. To disable it:

1. Open My Computer.
2. Click Tools | Folder Options | View.
3. Scroll to the end of the list of advanced settings.
4. Un-check "Use simple file sharing (Recommended).
