How do get ms word application installed in my computer

I typed some docs and tried to send but unsuccesful as it wasnt end up with
word.doc. how do i change my mucrosoft work place to a normal ms word
applications?

If you have Microsoft Works rather than Word, you may be able to choose a
Word .doc format when you Save As. If not, save in Rich Text Format (*.rtf),
which can be opened by Word or any other Word processor.
