How do change passwords that I forgot.

I can't make changes to some of my documents because I forgot my password to
unlock it. Please reply quickly.
 
As opposed to wanting to change someone else's document, whose password you
never knew ...?
 
Without the password there is no way to open the documents. There are
password cracking tools available on the internet (there's one linked from
the favourites page of my web site) but note that with complex passwords
they can take many hours to run.
