how did i lose my contact list

I lost my calendar information and contact list. I do not know how it
happened or how to get it back. can you help me?
 
Did you synch with a mobile device such as a blackberry? Sometimes they can
drop contact lists.
You can look in Deleted items but if it gone from Outlook and not backed up
or saved elsewhere it is lost.
