How do you copy files onto a CD -- WITH THEIR REAL DATES? When I copy to a
CD, the process makes all copied files have the current date!

Use a third party package. The inbuilt burning starts off by doing a
regular copy of files into a holding area, and as with all file copies
the copy is a 'new' file with today's date

You mean something like Nero?

Yes - or EasyCD Creator. Or Clone CD if you can still find it and do
not want a third party package for any other reason
