How convert PDS file back to Wordfile

Workshop material in Word document I have been working on suddenly apeared
when I reopened in PDS files. What may have happened and can I re-convert
these documents to Word-files ? PLEASE HELP ! URGENT !

PDS or PDF?

If it's a .pdf file, you didn't convert it to anything and the .doc file is
still there where it was.

As far as I can ascertain there are only two applications that create PDS
files and neither has anything to do with Word. JoAnn thinks you mean PDF,
which is as good a guess as any, but Word cannot open PDF files. For that
you need a PDF reader.

What you mean by 'workshop material' I haven't a clue. Perhaps you can
explain exactly what you mean, and with what Word version.
