how come my keyboard suddenlly changes its settings?

Sometimes when I am typing, the keyboard suddenly is typing with a different
letter to key setup and it all comes out jibberish. what did I do to get
this? how do I fix it. Right now I have to reboot the computer to fix it.

This depends on your operating system. On mine, I have a Dvorak keyboard set
up to kick in when I press Alt-Shift-0. It is under the regional and
language settings control panel in Windows XP.
