G Graham Mayor Jun 18, 2009 #2 Why on earth would you want to? The footer is not in the document text layer and so you would have to open the footer in order to access it. -- <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<> Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com <>>< ><<> ><<> <>>< ><<> <>>< <>><<>

P Peter Jamieson Jun 20, 2009 #3 I didn't have any difficulty doing it here. How exactly did you go about trying to insert one in the footer? Peter Jamieson http://tips.pjmsn.me.uk

M Matthewjd Aug 31, 2009 #4 I just added one to the header, so I assume you can do it to the footer. It was the same control that was contained in the body of the form. I just copied and pasted it, so the footer is automatically populated when I fill out the form.
