how can you email a Word 2007 document?

I'm really feeling like an idiot! When you finish a Word 2007 document, how
can you email it? The only way we have been able to do it is to save it, go
into Mail and attach it. I've tried so many things. Is there a step-by-step
instruction somewhere? I also can't find the send button. I've gone into word
options and customize but I must be missing something.

Click on the Pizza Button (that's the one at the round one with the Office
Logo in the top left corner of the screen) and in the menu that appears,
select the "Send" item.

Hope this helps.

Hi Doug- no it wasn't that easy :)
when I hit the email button and the email screen comes up, 1st there was no
send button. Now it's there, and I hit send, but I don't know where it's
going! It doesn't appear in any email inboxes I've tried sending it to. I've
tried a couple of things other people have posted, but to no avail! Can you
give me a little insight?

Hi C.,

What edition of Office 2007 do you have and what is your default email app and service provider?
